Before his name became attached to the AK-47, Mikhail Kalashnikov served as a tank driver-mechanic. The Smithsonian records that, after being wounded in 1941, he spent his recovery leave developing an earlier firearm design with machinist Zhenya Kravchenko. That mechanical background is a lesser-known beginning to a name now recognized around the world. This Fire Power artwork invites reflection on industrial design and its complicated place in history. This listing is for printed currency artwork.

Art meets Americana. Printed on authentic U.S. currency, each Liberty Art Note celebrates the people, moments, and stories that shape American culture. Created to spark joy, stir memories, and inspire conversation—a meaningful addition to your collection or a memorable gift.

Each Liberty Note is individually signed by hand. Signature colors and the number of signatures vary by design, adding to the individual character of each piece.

Artist's Finishing Touches: Most uncut sheets receive hand-painted accents at the artist's discretion. The placement, colors, and extent of these enhancements vary, making each finished sheet individually distinctive. Single Art Notes are not hand-painted.

Serial numbers and exact artwork placement vary.
