Stealth Flight — Guardians of the Sky

Some aviation breakthroughs happened years before the public knew about them. The F-117A Nighthawk first flew in June 1981 and became operational in 1983, during an era when stealth technology remained closely guarded.

The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force identifies the F-117A as the world's first operational stealth aircraft. Its place in aviation history offers a glimpse of the engineering and patient experimentation behind a new era of flight. This tribute celebrates that spirit of innovation and the people whose work often remained out of sight.

Part of our America 250 collection, this Liberty Art Note is collectible artwork printed on authentic U.S. currency, not an official government commemorative issue. A piece to collect, share, and spark conversation.

Each Liberty Note is individually signed by hand. Signature colors and the number of signatures vary by design, adding to the individual character of each piece.

Art meets Americana. Printed on authentic U.S. currency, each Liberty Art Note celebrates the people, moments, and stories that shape American culture. Created to spark joy, stir memories, and inspire conversation—a meaningful addition to your collection or a memorable gift.

Artist's Finishing Touches: Most uncut sheets receive hand-painted accents at the artist's discretion. The placement, colors, and extent of these enhancements vary, making each finished sheet individually distinctive. Single Art Notes are not hand-painted.

Serial numbers and exact artwork placement vary.
