Celebrating the Hoover Dam, one of America's most remarkable engineering achievements. Built during the Great Depression and dedicated in 1935, the dam was completed in 1936 across the Colorado River at the Nevada–Arizona border. Its immense concrete structure helped transform the American Southwest by providing hydroelectric power, water storage, and flood control.
