George Washington — Liberty Tribute

Washington's famous Farewell Address reached the public as a letter printed in newspapers. In 1796, as his second presidential term drew toward its end, he used the written word to announce his retirement and offer advice to the country.

It is a fitting detail for a work of art on paper: a message can outlast the moment in which it was made. This Liberty tribute reflects on leadership, civic responsibility, and the enduring conversation about how a republic can hold together.

Part of our America 250 collection, this Liberty Art Note is collectible artwork printed on authentic U.S. currency, not an official government commemorative issue. A piece to collect, share, and spark conversation.

Each Liberty Note is individually signed by hand. Signature colors and the number of signatures vary by design, adding to the individual character of each piece.

Independent tribute artwork
Liberty is an independent art studio creating collectible artwork inspired by American history, sports, and culture. Our pieces are made one at a time in small batches. Tribute and fan artwork are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any depicted athlete, public figure, team, league, brand, or their representatives. They are independently created works of art, not officially licensed merchandise.

Art meets Americana. Printed on authentic U.S. currency, each Liberty Art Note celebrates the people, moments, and stories that shape American culture. Created to spark joy, stir memories, and inspire conversation—a meaningful addition to your collection or a memorable gift.

Artist's Finishing Touches: Most uncut sheets receive hand-painted accents at the artist's discretion. The placement, colors, and extent of these enhancements vary, making each finished sheet individually distinctive. Single Art Notes are not hand-painted.

Serial numbers and exact artwork placement vary.
