Pilgrim

A familiar figure steps out of coin history and into full color. This recreation draws on the Pilgrim Tercentenary half dollar, designed by Cyrus E. Dallin and released in 1920 to mark 300 years since the Mayflower's arrival. The original coin paired a book-carrying Pilgrim with the ship on its reverse; this artwork brings those ideas together with an America 250 tribute.

A tiny detail on the historic coin hides a good collecting story: the little D beneath the Pilgrim's elbow is Dallin's initial, not a Denver mint mark. The 1920 coins were struck in Philadelphia.

The gallery shows the single-note and uncut-sheet interpretations. Their composition and artwork placement differ by format; choose your preferred format from the available options.

Part of our coin recreation collection, this Liberty Art Note is collectible artwork printed on authentic U.S. currency. It is an artistic tribute, not an original commemorative coin or an official U.S. Mint product.

Each Liberty Note is individually signed by hand. Signature colors and the number of signatures vary by design, adding to the individual character of each piece.

Art meets Americana. Printed on authentic U.S. currency, each Liberty Art Note celebrates the people, moments, and stories that shape American culture. Created to spark joy, stir memories, and inspire conversation—a meaningful addition to your collection or a memorable gift.

Artist's Finishing Touches: Most uncut sheets receive hand-painted accents at the artist's discretion. The placement, colors, and extent of these enhancements vary, making each finished sheet individually distinctive. Single Art Notes are not hand-painted.

Serial numbers and exact artwork placement vary.
