Canada Geese pass low over glowing water, their long dark necks and white chinstraps giving the flock a familiar silhouette. This design recalls the sound of wings overhead and the seasonal journeys woven into memories of the American outdoors.

Even some Canada Geese called resident birds make a journey: after breeding, they may travel north to molt. Staying through the winter in one region does not always mean staying put all year.
