Glacier's mountain wilderness is also part of a remarkable international idea. In 1932, Glacier and Canada's Waterton Lakes became the world's first international peace park. This tribute celebrates scenery that crosses boundaries and the cooperation needed to care for it, giving a mountain view a story of human connection as well as natural grandeur.
