The rider has taken both hands off the bars. Ahead, Route 66 runs straight toward a patch of gold on the horizon. Flag stripes trail across the sky, and a weathered-looking Route 66 shield peeks through on the right. The words “The American Feeling” sit just below the bill’s border.

The front photograph shows the single $1 Art Note. The black Liberty signature on the reverse is a representative example. Each piece is hand signed, and serial numbers and artwork placement vary.
