Columbia gives an abstract idea a human presence. This allegorical figure belongs to a tradition of imagining America through personification, with the flag lending a familiar visual language to the scene. Hail Columbia invites reflection on the ideals people attach to national symbols and the way art makes those ideals visible.

The name also carries a musical history. The tune later known as Hail Columbia was played to honor George Washington in 1789; Joseph Hopkinson supplied its words nine years later. Symbol, music, and memory meet in a phrase that helped Americans express a new national identity.

Art meets Americana. Printed on authentic U.S. currency, each Liberty Art Note celebrates the people, moments, and stories that shape American culture. Created to spark joy, stir memories, and inspire conversation—a meaningful addition to your collection or a memorable gift.

Each Liberty Note is individually signed by hand. Signature colors and the number of signatures vary by design, adding to the individual character of each piece.

Artist's Finishing Touches: Most uncut sheets receive hand-painted accents at the artist's discretion. The placement, colors, and extent of these enhancements vary, making each finished sheet individually distinctive. Single Art Notes are not hand-painted.

Serial numbers and exact artwork placement vary.
